GRANT AWARDED

GRANT AWARDED for start up company

One North East has awarded grant funding for a start up company in Stockton-on-Tees for the establishment of its head quarters, the creation of new jobs and capital expenditure.

For the last 12 months the unique business model has undergone research, key investors found, market research completed, future suppliers identified, headquarters located, resources specified and now the final required element of grant funding has been secured.

Whilst we are all conscious of the new age of ‘austerity’ and the announcement in May this year by Chancellor George Osborne to cut more than £6bn of what he calls ‘‘wasteful’‘ spending in a bid to reduce the nations staggering £156bn budget deficit and the closure by April 2012 of the RDA’s, there is still opportunity to source grant funding for projects which have done the research, produced realistic financial forecasts, written a credible business plan, bring experienced management to the project and have real ability to create new jobs.

Going for Grants exists to advise, search, identify and apply for this unique form of funding on behalf of its clients.
